Shanghai DreamCenter, is located in an old industrial site along Huangpu River in Shanghai Xuhui District. This project is comprised of four blocks offering two grade-A office towers, headquarters of Oriental DreamWorks, an art gallery, creative offices, art studios, retail facilities, one IMAX theatre, five theatres, one music hall, premium restaurants & bars, family zones, waterfront entertainment areas, etc.
As one of the largest cultural investment projects in China, DreamCenter is a dynamic collaboration between Hong Kong Lan Kwai Fong Group, DreamWorks Animation and Shanghai China Media Capital, transforming this old industrial site of cement plants into an integrated cultural & lifestyle landmark. It will feature a Broadway-style theatre district, world-class concert, event and exhibition venues, a Lan Kwai Fong entertainment area offering premium restaurants & bars, retail, unique concept shops, family entertainment, and creative media.
As a leading element of the “West Bund Media Port”, DreamCenter will inspire a new generation through creative and digital media, technology, art and cultural industries.
As Lan Kwai Fong Group's Senior Project Director, William's roles include but are not limited to:

Leading multidisciplinary design team to develop an integrated design, and tendering/construction documentation that meets project requirements within limited costs and time frames.

Facilitating team integration among internal departments, including design, business development, QS, procurement, marketing, leasing, operation and property management. Working with commercial team to develop handover requirements, including interior fit-out, lifts/escalators/stairs, and food & beverage reservation.

Improving project management procedures and systems for cross-departmental communication, design variations and contract directives, construction documents administration, inspection and QA/QC.

As Lan Kwai Fong Group’s representative based in Shanghai, attending tendering and procurement procedures, including but not limited to reviewing tender packages, conducting value engineering with QS, and attending tenderer prequalification interviews with the procurement team.
